Getir is a story of growth. ‘Growth’ is our favorite word. If all goes as planned, the growth will never stop as we enter new businesses and geographies expand our user base. The story of Getir dates back six years, when it first launched in Istanbul. After becoming the clear-cut market leader in our first market, we decided the global push was the next step. We recently launched in London, and have already set our eyes on Berlin, Paris, Amsterdam as well.

Every department at Getir has a growth-mentality. While having many eyes is great, it is also important that some eyes go into the minute details and see things that others don’t and suggest growth strategies that we haven’t thought about before. Thus, we are looking to add a Growth Manager for our worldwide growth. The position will be based in Istanbul (for now), but could be anywhere in the World in a short period of time.

Responsibilities

  • Recognize and seize growth opportunities
  • Find and define growth corridors and opportunities to continue scaling Getir
  • Use conventional means for growth
  • Use (more) unconventional means for growth
  • Take growth-related projects from infancy to adulthood
  • Know your customer
  • Disregard the existence of the box when finding solutions
  • Optimize customer journey with retention & engagement tools and actions
  • Manage campaigns while thinking about better campaigns.

Requirements

  • Excitement about everything related to growth, whether it’s Getir’s growth, the GDP growth of Indonesia, or the literal growth of the nextdoor neighbors young child.
  • 5+ years of experience in management consultancy or strategic planning
  • “Analyze first, act second” mindset
  • A personality that rejects and questions established practices
  • Experience partnering with cross-functional teams and 3rd party companies.
  • Enthusiasm for working in an imperfect dynamic startup environment
